U for unity – a community unified in its purpose to care for others in need. H for humility – The most valuable attribute to have when helping someone. Making them feel loved and not feel like a burden. C for compassion – The ability to level with the person you’re caring for showing empathy. We take pride in our culture by providing exceptional care to those who need a hand. In our tradition when you care for the elderly or someone disabled they say, ” E LOLOA HO AHO,” meaning you will be gifted with longer life. This is how the name TUHC was adopted.
